Does AT&T have a hiring freeze in place?
Is it across all verticals?
I heard this was the case for Entertainment, but can't say for certain.

The company is getting rid of all the contractors in GA/SC in Wireless C&E and Wireless RAN Engineering. Funny that it is not happening in other states. Next step is to reduce actual AT&T headcount - don't spend - save!
Absolutely no hiring freeze whatsoever... In Mumbai...
I looked in CareerEnd and found no jobs either.
It is just a freeze if you are being surprised so you cannot move any where else in the company.
Are you aware there is a large surplus upcoming? You do know that ATT is executing on a plan to reduce employee cost savings by $1.5 Billion EOY 2020, right?
Just look in Careerpath. There are very few jobs posted at this time
