Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

HBO Max is the epitome of showing up to the party too late

Seriously? Friends? Fresh Prince? The terrible DC movies? Old Doctor Who reruns? This is worth $14.99? I browsed HBO Max for an hour and struggle to find something to watch. AT&Ts strategy is to release old content that’s been in syndication for years for a higher price than every other streaming service?

What a failure of a product. South Park isn’t even available day one and that was a big selling point. I would say Apple TV+ is even a better product at this point.

The content is way better than Netflix's and most of the good stuff on Amazon costs $$. South Park? are you 15 years old.

how the entertainment group has jobs after this launch is beyond me. it is a joke that isn't even funny any more but more just sad and pitiful. why even bother with roku, amazon, or whatever agreements it won't help.

It sounds like DirecTV Now Part 2

That isn't even the worst part. With firestick and roku owning about 70% of the streaming market, HBOMAX is not available on those platforms.
