With HBO Max, AT&T Has Built a Streaming Service That Feels Like a Walmart

(Bloomberg) – I’d only been watching HBO Max for a few minutes when one thing became abundantly clear: This didn’t look like the old HBO... I was reminded of when AT&T Chief Executive Officer Randall Stephenson likened Netflix to Walmart and HBO to Tiffany. I've been looking through it this morning and it's pretty meh. Sad so many people are getting their lives turned upside down because of this half-baked potato of a steaming service.

The problem with HBO Max is it’s all stuff I’ve seen a million times. Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, the awful DC movies, the occasional blockbuster hit like Hobbs and Shaw. Rick and Morty which is already going down in quality. Doctor Who which I’ve seen multiple times all the way through. Fresh Prince which I’ve seen a million times. With all of the content out there I can’t see myself firing up HBO Max. Went through the whole catalog and fired a Netflix back up. Even South Park is missing. Feels like a product banking on nostalgia.

Typical arrogant AT&T management attitude. Buy another company, insult the company and its workers, and then throw everyone under the bus. All the while bragging about how brilliant AT&T management is.

Let me clue C-Suite level management in on something that the brown nosing sychophants with their lips puckered up won't - You guys are a joke! You are all thoroughly incompetent at running your own business and destroy every new company you acquire.
