What group was dissolved in Charlotte?

In a control group.

A group was dissolved in Charlotte today.

This is confusing but I want to right a mess up on my part. I am @OCA “I might be getting jaded...”
@rdg responded “I am sorry to hear this...” I thought @rgd was responding to me, but he/she was actually responding to @lcj “I got my lay-off notice today. So then under @iey I responded “Thank you! Back at ya!” which sounds snarky. That was not my intent at all. I was wanting to respond positively to a nice comment. Might be time for me to stay off the board for a couple days lol.

I might be getting jaded, but I think posts like this are from someone just trying to get the conversation going. Or someone looking to indirectly poke the bear. Someone who enjoys getting us started.

This post, the “H1b also getting Laid off?” post, the “When is the lay-off” post, the “It feels unstable” post, the “IT people are safe?” post, the “Has the lay-off started” post.

To me, they all have a ring of familiarity with each other. No harm really, but a time-waster: a different form of trolling. Just sayin’.

I got my layoff notice today and my team is being dissolved. NONE of us want to be looking for a job during the pandemic.

Screw all those who are selfish, callous and lack compassion.

Wouldn’t worry too much on model- not a big org and specific skill sets

Model risk should be alright assuming you are actually doing the work.

I would take what you hear from this site with a grain of salt. Someone said they had layoff packets on their desk for today and tomorrow. I hear nothing but crickets regarding layoffs today.
