At least the future that goes beyon the next quarter? Becasue it certainly doesn't seem to. Every single decision seems to be aimed at improving the immediate numbers, which is a disastrous strategy in the long run. The only thing constant cuts can do for us is push us in the direction of Chapter 7. Is that the ultimate goal here?

Smack talk DA or not, you're still probably going to lose your job.
Yes...their personal financial futures.
That CEO Bob could be why courage us now a desired behavior.
Is there a future? I have heard several shops having to be either closed or consolidated globally across all ISC sites. Its like squeezing them together to boost revenues and improve margins that they can flog it off. Remember, our leaders looks only for the now and not the next.
Tell-tale signs of when your location is being sold:
- when sites are being combined into one. The combined site for any given region is the one that is going to be sold off.
- when the upper echelons requests for any particular information to the site for no apparent reason. For example; a senior manager for planning enquires for the finance report to the analyst. There are only few people allowed in such projects to keep it ‘secret’ so don’t be surprised when maybe, a sr. director starts requesting certain information from you than from your supervisor.
- when people that you’ve never seen ever making appearances at the site starts making rare appearances. Look out for those honeywell real estate people because they never ever show up unless for a sale valuation of a plant.
Honeywell = Dumpster Fire
@1qgx: LOL all you want and that's great if you feel smack talking a CEO is a good idea. My only point was if you do it in a town hall meeting or any other venue you may very well get lose your job. Best wishes and good luck to you.
@1wdv And then said engineer sued and got a nice settlement. LOL
Continued: I noticed after that they were screening all question.
Just sayin’: You know, I remember back about 2005-2006 or so when Rob G. who was the Honeywell Aero. CEO at that time was holding a town hall in Phoenix. A very senior engineer I knew that was in the audience asked a very pointed question about Rob's recent reorganization of the Aerospace division. Rob's reply was "You better hope you're a 1 block" and then he was let go several days later. I noticed after that they
Future is ↙️
No, they do not look at the future. That is why the whole future shaper mantra is both embarrassing and insulting!!!
@wondering
I asked many questions during the town hall yesterday that were “dismissed by host” they want easy questions that make the company look good when they answer them. If you heard Ken yesterday Honeywell is doing amazing and #1 in safety and qualify and On time deliveries 🙄🙄 give me a break. They lost so many good people and come Aug 21st when everyone is gone the real struggle is everyone left that now has to do more with less. I worried about that day but hey I need a job. They’ll use and abuse me until the next RIF.
The ultimate goal is for the corporate office to make $$. The strategies they deploy are for personal gain. WS can make stock go up, they work for WS. They have no interest in the company a whole or the products we have been making.
No. They always said that the most important quarter is the current one.
It should be fairly obvious to everyone at this point that they are going to sell off certain portions of the company. They are trimming payroll and using more contractors because it will help those companies look more attractive in a sale.
Not sure where you all have been on this but it’s basically staring you in the face.
Don’t know. Why don’t you ask during next Global Town Hall?
