A troll gets their amusement from intentionally provoking and upsetting people. That’s their lifeblood. If we ignore them, don’t give them views, don’t rate them and do not reply to them: It will deprive them of what they enjoy most. They are damaged, so there is no reasoning with them or putting them in their place. This just motivates them to keep it going. If you are out here regularly, you can spot them from a mile away. They each have a recognizable pattern. One even responds to himself/herself several times to try to get the chain going. I’m not suggesting that we should not have reasonable deliberation and disagree with each other. But you can spot the difference.

Great idea. Start a thread about trolls, that will show them how much we ignore them!
Feeling is mutual

I like the trolls. Adds texture.
I think I know the trolls IP:
192.168.1.1
They also like to use localhost
Let’s get those phuckers!!
How exactly do you know that one even responds to himself/herself several times to try to get the chain going?
Is ER tracking the IP addresses of the posters?
The anonymous nature of this board makes trolling an expected phenomenon on any of the lay-off boards. Some posters may be very angry employees or former employees (especially when they have inside information as to how Wells Fargo operates) but many may not have ever been employees at Wells Fargo or may have been unsuccessful applicants.
This post is feeding trolls. I’m going to bet you’re the troll OP
I'm in.
