The MRA and TCP work is the safest place to be at Wells right now, guaranteed, been here for a long time and there is NO talk of reducing staff, we don't fix things, we through more people and broken processes at it. The GIM process for Issue Management is an example, as is the broken or slow more times than not SHRP system. You're safe.

Business critical doesn’t mean critical to business function. Its typically used in a bcp sense as to who is has priority to systems when their is a shortage of access points/machines. Our entire team is considered business critical, while the other five teams reporting to our senior manager are not. I would consider some of those people more ‘critical’ than most of our team.
For now, maybe.. but also look at the other transformation efforts and what happened to some of those leaders when things didn’t pan out.
Seo is useless and provides little value; the front lines and ef are trying to keep up and also run bau.
We didn’t have our sh– together 18 months ago; deadline got extended and we’re still struggling to even get direction on the path forward. Clock is ticking and target state is not finalized and how will that lend to submitting in September? Anyone remember “plan for a plan”? We’ll get knocked again because there is now not adequate time for everyone to document that work that needs to be executed so we will end up with a half baked response that won’t be viewed favorably. Sad thing is a lot of people in the trenches of this work realize it, but the executives haven’t woken up, or won’t speak up.
Completely agreed, in my world, they have marked me as "business critical." We also have to clear MRA's...
I check this site daily, because of the exact reasons you state. I could easily be in the pool of cuts. I just hope I can find information on this site which would be closer to accurate, other than complaints and extreme assumptions.
Don't get too cozy, Charlie is an outsider and this is going to be a huge layoff. Prepare like it can happen to you, at least you would be ready if it does.
