Let’s be clear. On the 2pm up to speed KB said “there are no plans to close any buildings today as a result of this announcement.” Notice she said “today” - this is sneaky. THERE WILL ABSOLUTELY BE BUILDINGS CLOSING.

There is NO WAY Verizon will keep buildings open that are intended to hold a couple thousand people for the 10-15 people who still go to them. No way. They won’t close today, but they will close in October.

No layoffs were announced but I’m sure some will come, like contractors whose jobs are specific to a building

It was just announced that VCG is permanent work from home. All front line and support groups. Some buildings will remain open as hubs but that won’t be announced until August.
