Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Advice

Turn all of this energy, good and bad, into making team orange the number 1 company in America. Nothing improves morale like a few wins. Make this organization what you want it to be!!!!

It is going to be difficult to get a "few wins" when we aren't allowed to add anything new. I almost feel sorry for next year's sales staff. It is going to be difficult to sell anything without any shiny new features to tout. What do I know? Maybe there is a good reason to not add shareholder value.

@1flf+15Pkz2wi I doubt there is a lot of #FiservProud sh– going on these days. It will be 2 more years of chaos before things start becoming functional.

The employees of fiserv are pro team orange and focusing on shareholder value. The people who post derogatory s**t are ex-employees; people that didn't make the cut and have nothing better to do than troll a message board and complain about how poorly they were treated. #fiservproud!!!!

@1wjy+15Pkz2wi that is the type of attitude that makes a sh–ty atmosphere for employees, and the main reason why things don't improve. It goes back to step up and be better or step down and let someone else do a better job. If you truly want to improve. It doesn't start with employee's it start with good leadership that recognizes good work of those who meet deadlines and produces quality work. Right now, i don't see leaders but i do see a lot of micromanagers that dictate the actions of employees without a real working knowledge of their teams skills. It is like renting a bunch of Ferrari's that can go 200Mph, and putting a governor on them to only allow them to go 50Mph because the manager is trying to control all the cars at the same time. Maybe in this situation the manager should just trust the employees can get from point A to point B within a reasonable amount of time.

$5 says there is an extra special class of Living Proof just for yacht and luxury owners and above. Its hard to cook the books if they let ordinary folks have rewards like before. Any tax break was only meant for the higher ups. Those second and third homes don't pay for themselves!

Yeah, i just looked at it, and the amazon gift card take more points, and you can only give out a max of $100 worth of points. How is this program better, than the original, they both had amazon gift cards. I can't recommend someone for a higher value than $100, which i could before.

The Living Proof award and the what you get are up to the recipient knowing how to redeem. They were not previously limited to a catalog, you had access to hundreds of gift cards for national retailers, travel, sports, hotels and Amazon.

OFD makes nothing and does nothing better!

Living Proof awards are not capped. In fact OFD made the program better by providing tax equalization vs the OFS program that hit associates hard in their paychecks with tax for overpriced merchandise from a low quality catalog. Another example of OFD making a program better!

Yeah that is hard to do when senior leaders destroy employee morale, and remove the ability for employees to be recognized for their hard work and going above and beyond. Start rewarding your employee's better. Living Proof awards are capped at $100, which used to be $500 for stellar work. 401K match is missing, and stock discount purchases were removed.

Open up your eyes, Troll. When the company aligns and trusts it employee's again, you will have an improved morale. It took Jeff 4-5 years to fix the employee morale problem in 2012, and it became a hot topic in 2013 when Fiserv was labeled as one of the top 10 worst companies to work for in 2013. I'd recommend you fix the employee morale issue that is going on, and restore some of those perks and benefits that were taken away.

No company run by a criminal will be the number 1 company in America. You think we’ll pass Apple or Google?!! That’s just laughable!

Hard to be motivated to help the company when your teammates randomly disappear from the company because their number missed the mark on some bean counters .xls file. Will I be next? Will it be this week or next month?

Actually there is motivation here. To escape this sinking ship ASAP.

Here's some candid advice for reducing the disturbingly rapid rate of implosion and increasing employee morale:

  1. Bring back the friggin' 401k match instead of taking our own money away from us and then repurposing it as a "relief fund".
  2. Stop blowing huge wads of money on friggin' agile, friggin' "open floor plan" building remodels, and friggin' TVs placed in every stairwell that play looped footage of JY talking. Instead, take this money and use it to reward your employees.
