Does the bank need to notify a state if they are letting go of telecommuters?

I don't think my empoyers address is in my state.

Good tip on the WARN website, though, I found my state's, but I'm not sure it will be useful.

Maybe keep any eye on the WARN websites for the main locations, too.

I looked it up, WARN refers to the Worker Adjustment & Retraining Notification Act

The day WARN is updated is the day the affected folks are given notice.

pay attention to your states "WARN NOTICE" website.

they have to give a 60 day notice.

I do think the next round of layoffs they will use bank expenses and covid as a cover for more offshoring to india.

Layoffs were planned well before the dividend was in danger.

Earnings are to be released July 14, so anticipate maybe we’ll hear something by then so management can talk about cost cutting in the earnings call?

There will certainly be layoffs. The dividend being in trouble just makes it imperative they happen ASAP, pandemic be damned.
