Retail Surplus

Those in retail or supporting.. who knows when we will hear the plan for surplus/restructure? It’s too quiet. No one seems engaged. Word is Directors and VPGMs aren’t in the loop on the surplus either this go around.

Replying to Morethanu,
Working in retail myself, I have to agree with you. I think our issue is that we don’t utilize retail in the best way though. I’d love to see some stats on if we provided our own techs in-store again to fix devices. Now that Asurion has increased in price for monthly insurance, so many customers are dropping the already raggedy service. I’m sure we could train a certain amount of reps into also being techs, and make some more money that way. Having said that, I’m no accountant so who knows.

There’s too much retail anyway. It’s just the nature of the beast. Be ready and prepared. Don’t be blind

I heard small pop up stores aren’t opening again and they’ll restructure by promoting reps and laying off managers maybe rumor who knows
