the KLT plan is a possible case study for a post-university management stage of "how not to manage a complex multinational reality" ..... or for those who prefer .... a typical example of "how to make a business fail , with a smile on his lips "...... also very stupid smile.

Just aware of a group of consultants been fired from keyloop to be hired together by the biggest competitor in Italy...as many of them have been asked to remain on board for a while!!
Poor stupid KLT members, because they don't know (or they do?!) that a move like this will bring keyloop down very quickly.
Oh...customers are very afraid about us, but competition is going to thank us for the life.

One of the big problems is that the KLT do not have seem to any idea at all about the complexity of the DMS systems they have taken on and the many different set up combinations that allow their dealers to be entrepreneurial. This aspect requires support from a team that understands how the DMS actually works. Keyloop KLT want a plug and play system that is simple and all users do not have to think when using it. They have removed the experienced team they had that could support their dealers with the product they currently have and replaced with a support team (cheaper labour in India and Prague) that will support the product they may have in 10 years time - Genius! Meanwhile the existing dealers can pay top dollar for no support and end up with a system that comes out of a box.

Keyloop do not know the meaning of the word ‘support’ anymore.

Ok, another step forward has been made, the assistance service is guaranteed when the call is opened directly by the dealer's lawyer .... in other cases, please wait. Keep it up! Great job !!!!

How is possible do business without it?

Not come across any returners but some of the december leavers have been asked to stay on again and pretend the lay off did not happen

by
| | Reply
Post ID: @8Tctu+154y9TPM

Not aware of any former employees returning.
I think they realise the great escape they have. They have all found better jobs and conditions.
Don't think the December redundancies are being cancelled, infact there is a couple more going in December (UK) that have been told recently.

Advice to remaining staff, if you can bear it, stick it out until June and get your payout - keep refreshing your diary for a meeting with a jr manager and HR rep - kerching

The good old divide and rule.

If senior management can convince you that it is the person in Prague or Hyderabad that is the real enemy because they’re taking your jobs for lower wages, then you’ll be too busy vilifying them to see who is actually the real problem i.e. senior management/KLT

Remember, it wasn’t the people in Prague or Hyderabad who have been around years who have ruined this company, it was the new KLT

The plan will be to cut staff as much as possible (done) not replace them (ongoing) and then flip the company again in a couple years (guaranteed)

During the Roman Empire, they were used to say "DIVIDE ET IMPERA" just to show the best way to follow from a tyrant to control and rule everyone.
I think with FP the same thing has occurred because KLT has put a lot of silos between departments and different countries...just to better rule every of them!!

Do you think it's normal that almost all of us are not aware about what is going on within new operational model?
For example my boss has gone last month and the team has self-managed for a while...now we have moved under a local leader, even if they say (when? How?) maybe it will change once again...

Nothing else seen with previous management, specially with ADP one!

FP stop tell us buls*t and show the real plan so that we can decide to continue with you or go away!

guess many from Hungerford or UK and want to ask what you guys did when other markets struggled with products. if product was good enough or even average, we could have a good business in China... it's sinking even before FP and many of experienced folks left. worst is FP injected fuel for speed.

Ehr, I've been working in IT for nearly 2 decades and India is a country that exists, it's normal for jobs to be offshored. I know it hurts, but point your anger at the ones making the plan, not the ones in Prague also busting their as--s.

I wonder if you would say the same thing when you were kicked out while in another country new employees were hired to do your job for less money.

I work in the Prague office and don't like the animosity. It's understandable that it's a tough pill to swallow when you're local department is being downsized, but Prague staff/management can't be held responsible for that. Hate on FP all you want for the new direction they are taking Keyloop, but to me a lot of you just sound like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QGmhLtsK2ZQ

Do you think he has the capacity to look at a screen and talk at the same time? He couldn't control his little toy car and talk at the same time on his new 'values' video.

Reminds me of Little Britain. Tom KillAll looks at his screen and replies: "Computer says no".

I feel so worn down by Keyloop that I’m struggling to find the energy to even apply elsewhere.
Have been trying to stick it out to do my best for the team that’s still here and the poor customers but it worries me that if more people keep leaving, I’ll be one of the last to turn out the lights

I’m definitely happy to not be working there anymore! At the time it was hard to take but listening to current employees and knowing previous customers and hearing their feedback I couldn’t be happier that I’ve gone!

Also leaving here has made me realise my value and actually led to me being paid a lot more elsewhere!

And now there are colleagues who hardly try to provide assistance to customers ..... they don't have time to laugh and joke, maybe being filmed in stupid videos to advertise id--tic slogans.

Were the rumours from a reliable source?
I’m still a current employee and haven’t heard anything about this (yet).
There’s no doubting that the quality is poor at the moment but further job cuts would be fatal so I’m would be very surprised if that was on the cards, at least so soon after June’s mass redundancies..

Rumours starting again that jobs are due to be cut. Customers spending all day struggling to get answers and all of the experience within the company sacked. Biggest sh-t show of a company I’ve ever known.

How can the dealers not be satisfied? They now have Tom and his leadership team who have absolutely no dealership experience between them ,telling them what they need to prosper. Do it yourself support is only the first genius offering, watch out there is more to come!

Sorry I'm serious, does anyone know the name of a keyloop customer in Europe who is satisfied with the service? A single name would be fine. Thanks in advance.

How come every support call from India is followed by a question where in the system is that option?
Pendragon must be rubbing their hands customers are moving over to Pinewood in masses.
How to destroy a great company, system and more importantly good staff.

A tip for the remaining employees: from now on there will be a very strong pressure of the work activity due to lack of staff and disorganization. Work as you always have, seriously, but don't let yourself be drowned by the work, the reminders of clients and managers. Learn to say no too. PUT YOUR HEALTH FIRST!!!!

It's seems so CRAZY to me that no news has been released yet regarding new organization here in Italy.
We have team leader already moved to other roles, act as the previous ones...and a lot of mates, not aware about who is the new leader to follow...
Everyone is scared and senior leaders don't speak as usual...
How many years do you think this new (Bleah!) company will remain "alive and kicking" before FP decide to sell it in every possible way?
Tears for colleagues still there :-(
Go away and leave them alone!!

The case-entries of the Hyderabad-based staff already is a source for tears in anyone's eyes, since they don't know anything. Somehow, the management of Keyloop missed the fact, that US-companies leave India and move on to the Philippines instead. Why? The mentality and religion in India causes the employee to quit on a problem quite often, if he sees no way out.

So the new shiny office in India opened and the staff think they are just there to answer calls and log them, no idea how to fix anything and nobody to show them. The UK case load now stands at 500 and counting, I’m off in 2 weeks time, already offered job with a new company that respect and give staff what they need to be successful and loyal.

I hope the last one out is going to turn the lights out as everyone with any software and motor trade experience is leaving and quickly. LinkedIn is a strong indication of the quality people who are calling it a day. Happy to be out of the carnage but feel for anyone left living this shitshow.
