Hi everyone, is anyone informed about the dates or even the month that layoffs will be announced? I’m just curious. Also, will some COR stores close?

15th of June is when the 3rd Quarter surplus for union employees in the bellsouth region. I have not heard any new news but I think it will give them a reason with the virus too start there bloodbath of cuts. 19 years with them and have been through 7 surpluses move to 6 different locations to keep my job.
AT&T is a company I wanted to retire from... I spend almost 17 years there... I was number 1 in my group.... I was writing software.....
it makes no difference how you perform... in your group or outside of it... the company is desperate.... there's almost at 50% chance it has to file for bankrupt status, while at the same time being the most indebted company in history.....
you sort of don't matter.... the att execs are probably the most stupid people in history..... .with a 150yr old company to do high tech.... they're now using h1b... using IBM to take their employees and fire them for foreign workers.... I really hope hell hurts.
Look, the truth is that AT&T doesn't care about you...they give you to IBM or another company... let's say it's IBM.... IBM gives you some time at your rate... then they fire you or give you a couple of options... you compete with foreign worker's salaries for your same job or, you might get an offer to relocate at maybe 2/3 of your previous salary.
Fiction... IHX is adding over 700 experts this summer.
Only thing i can tell you is that IHX will have some Layoffs... im in a meeting about the changes as i type this :(

No one seems to know for sure, but McElfresh mentioned June and that seems to be the consensus.
