Heard wireline construction and engineering to be spun off into a separate company to sink or swim with other contract firms. All support roles to go too.

@zyn+153t6d0x so in your mind, any org that doesnt make as much return as "wireless", should be axed. Even though wireline brings in heaps of cash, that money is not as good as yours? Tribal much?
Another person spouting "but tha wireline", without even knowing what all it entails. A$$ clown
@zyn...u talk mighty big to be a part of the #3 wireless carrier in the country. The only reason T isn't #4 is because Sprint & T-Maybe merged. Work on your coverage by putting up some more towers(wireline will feed them for ya) , get some better customer service with some somewhat consistent billing and then get back with us.
I’ve been hearing this for nearly two decades. I’ll believe it when it when I see it.
Fake. No way our leadership is that far out of the box.
Yippee!! Buh-bye.
Whoa! You mean construction would have to actually work?!?!? 😆😆😆
C&E will be fully contracted by next year, at the end CWA will lose a LOT more members........that I know!
Gawd I hope this is true. I’m so tired of wireline dragging the rest of us in wireless down. We have nothing in common and it s—s carrying their weight. Yeah yeah, wireless depends on wireline transport...blah blah blah. It’s the copper sh–e I’m talking about. It’s so dead.
I heard there is a unicorn herd on the dark side of the moon.
NO. Stupid post by OP for sure and simply troll music.
if they spin off C-E they would spin off ALL of Wireline .My 2 cents
If you think internal chargeback is bad now, just wait until this happens, cost is going skyrocket, survival of the fittest.
So now there will be 2 great companies. Wow, awesome.
We can combine with the Venezuelan TV business they just shuttered. It’ll be great
Spinning off companies to hide losses was Enron’s downfall
When is this supposed to happen?
This would be nice. No more construction surplus
