Shame on AT&T lack of Internet in Dallas

In response to that claim, an AT&T spokesperson disputed the accusation that the company is somehow purposefully overlooking a large portion of its home city.. Really? my Director suggested the lack of adoption for high-speed Internet in southern Dallas to date may have less to do with access and more to do with awareness, LOL
But it gets better.. he said that for many neighborhoods our products are overly costly for them.

To my knowledge in C&E the company routinely pressures Engineers, and supervisors to delay, cancel, or complete unfinished projects, without any work been completed.

I doubt portions of the people around Dallas can read so internet seems kind of pie in the sky.

The “poor” don’t have home internet because they use their 800 dollar cell phones to surf. I could probably give into the stupid idea of inequality in internet service if they chose a small town in BFE as their example. The vast majority of EVERYBODY has LTE coverage in the Dallas metro.

The customers don’t want to pay for home internet when they already have it on their phone.

Ask a wireline tech (who depends on home phone and internet service to provide them a job) and most will tell you they don’t have home service, but you can bet they all have cell phones.

Access to broadband in the governments eyes isn’t not about landline services. It’s about access to communication and information. Which the customers receive if they have a cell phone.

Huh, poor people can’t afford internet... who knew...?? They also can’t afford a lot of other things.... if the city/state wants to make this a priority, then raise taxes to pay for it....

Or better yet cities can provide their own wifi service to their residents far better and far cheaper. AT&T adds very little of value to our nation that couldn't be provided better and far cheaper to the consumer.

At this point the AT&T corporation is nothing but a ripoff and a scam designed to funnel wealth into the accounts of its executives at the expense of society. Rat's retirement package being a perfect example.

Watched the video, this external affairs guys sounds like POTUS, it isn't our fault if people don't know; it isn't our fault if people don't use, it isn't our fault if people don't adapt. They have more fiber coverage but lack internet access. How are you not fired? Do your job! Wear a sandwich board, walk the neighborhood and give away free service to the low income.

Someone should send that news station the clip from the town hall where Stank claims to be woke. But then again they way he used, like most things, he does not have a clue about what it means.

Americans’ lives and livelihoods are unchanged, CORPORATE Greed had proliferate and jobless rates spiral. The confluence of a ferocious pandemic, deepening economic turmoil, rising inequality, Weath Redistribution are more pronounced here than ever.
As Randall's efforts to move into the twilight and insulate himself from the crisis he created and Srankey’s ability to blame the workers for the imminent fallout of The EG.
