Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

What in the world is Crunchyroll?

And why do we own it in the first place? Was this one more of Randy's brilliant acquisitions?

As a former subscriber, the feeling is mutual. Your sh–ty company completely steamrolled and ruined Crunchyroll.

AT&T k–led a valuable partnership with Funimation because they want to bundle exclusive shows into their sh–ty TV bundles like VRV and AT&T TV.

Very anti-consumer. Thanks a lot boomers. You'd think the lesson would have been learned when T-Mobile siphoned every single millennial away from AT&T.

The largest problem with layoffs and WTH is more id–ts have time to post ignorant comments on this board. Long live the linemen who built this company.

Must be a clueless boomer or gen X-er. Anime has been around for awhile. Crunchyroll has been the go-to3 for anime content. Do a search for their subs. It has gone down much like any other T's subscriber base.

It's the new super-duper internet. Total next-gen. AT&T will rule the internet with it.

It is a smart one in our offerings. It’s target audience is 14-20 . Usually extend into early 20s. It is a tech company and behaves like one. It is a great asset for that market segment. We do not have any gaming offer like stadia for that market - this is next good bet.

The info on what it is in wikipedia
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crunchyroll

It was a warner media subsidiary making animated features (anime). Probably would have lasted there but nothing survives our (mis)management.
