Got a government job with the IT dept for a county. Less pay but much happier. Lot less stress. I’m no longer overeating lol. It’s amazing to be able to work and be left alone without every hour questioned and scrutinized. Rewarding too and I feel appreciated. Not just a number like at att. It’s almost a weird feeling not to be threatened by my employer every day. The only thing I miss about att is the b–ching. That’s why I still visit this board lol
Tuesday last day on payroll - new job starts tomorrow. 50% less pay however times are a changing. 95% less headache.

I quit before I could get laid off but got myself into an electrical apprenticeship. Starting at the bottom now but pay and benefits will be better.
Got surplussed back in February, starting a new job this Monday
