So I "HEARD" that the CWA is addressing the job issue of "job description" for a Retail Sales Consultant havin to work the parking lot! I know its a one in life time crisis and all, but reps havn to dodge cars, exhaust, heat and humidity and of course of the "smell" of burnt special cigs comn from the cars interior.
So can anyone shed any info with regards to AT&T tryn to rewrite job description for the Union Reps!

Rsc’s stop your complainin. Curb sell if you have to. Consumers need to communicate to others, esp in this time of need. We rsc’s are on the frontlines. Be thankful.
This post illustrates why unions are dying.
There is no need to wear a mask.
Curbside is illegal and I reported it to OSHA
Sounds like the Union may already be involved. The unions job is to protect your employment. If the option is your store stays closed or you work curbside I guess it’s your choice not to work under those terrible conditions.
Make sure your next job isn’t in the highly skilled arena of fast food service, they also work outside now.(but for a lot less)
Don’t expect CWA to do anything besides help you get better lay-off benefits. What a joke. They couldn’t bargain their way out of a glass house with a hammer.
CWA addressing WHAT? HAHA HAHA JWAJ HA.HEE HEE!
You are s— jokester@lol
Ordered online and went into a store for pick up. I was wearing a mask, there were 4 reps inside, no masks. That is what happens when masks are optional. Will CWA do something about that, not likely. Meanwhile, many chain stores are requiring customers to wear masks and putting up barriers at checkouts.
Interesting. My whole store prefers curbside. We have a table a tent set up, and we just walk out to the cars when they pull up. If people would read our GIANT SIGN that states "please stay in your vehicle", then curbside would be perfect. That's on our customers for not knowing how to read however.
The CWA is addressing nothing, and you all know it. The company will do whatever it wants/ needs to, as the "needs of the business" dictate.
I would rather do curbside than have to argue with someone that they dont need a family of 8 to crowd around me while I sell them a phone. Especially since no one wears a mask in our store and uses interactions as an opportunity to spread their corona conspiracy theories.
most customers should not be driving in the first place or being able to propagate for that matter.
I for one prefer working curb side vs having the customers come inside...I feel safer not having them roam around the store, a lot of them without masks...
