How many RSCs are searching for new employment? I am trying to get ahead because I know they will start layoffs soon plus I’m tired of being micro-managed. The commission is so low and I don’t feel like it’s worth the constant scare of being laid off every year. I’m praying I find a new job sooner than later.

I've been looking, but it's difficult to compete with the pay. As a part-time RSC, I made $52,000 last year before taxes. As meaningless as the job is, it pays very well for working around 32 hours per week. I've got a masters in education, but I can't find a school district near me that pays more than $45,000 for a full-time teacher.
I just graduated from college so I worked for AT&T as a RSC just to make a little money. I couldn’t imagine being an RSC for years and as a career. There are way better paying companies with better benefits.
Good luck. Seriously. I think if many of us could find a similar paying job we’d be gone.
