Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Illinois Manager Positive

Manager who had face to face interaction with crew and customers is verified positive Covid19. Now techs aren’t only facing possible exposure by the general public but of course our managers and staff who insist on reporting to the work center, not following the guidelines of physical distancing or any other guidelines you can name. Still waiting on my hand sanitizer.

Today we were told that after six weeks of working in customer's homes with zero PPE other than what we personally could find around our homes - that today, the Company came through.

Ten o'clock this very day we got a text that a case of Dial soap had arrived at the warehouse and we would each be issued a bar!

Over the rest of today, the group Tech chat worked on how best to use this critical life-saving bar of soap. We finally agreed that the best idea is to slightly wet one side so it becomes gummy but not runny. Then hold that bar of soap in front of your face with the gummy side facing out whenever near a customer. Any floating Coronavirus will get stuck in the gummy side of your soap bar and not go down your throat. After you leave the house you use your water jug to rinse the stuck Coronavirueses off your safety soap and down into the gutter.

  1. S. Don't let any splash onto your 3rd side safety cone! Thanks to Tech KT for this observation!

My manager is still performing unannounced observations and T quality inspections , putting everyone at risk. How stupid is that. But hey gotta make sure we have our 3 cones out ! We’re working for a bunch of inbred baboons.
