we might be safe for now but wait until this is over, that's when we'll see the worst of it. if you think outsourcing was bad before, just wait until they realize how many jobs can be done at home. and when they realize that, they'll realize they can be done at any home, here or overseas. we are very much screwed once this is done.

You know , I don’t think so ... I watched that town hall the other day , and it seems like ... they FINALLY GET IT ... The workers and our trust in the company is MORE important than what they gave it in YEARS PAST (Randal era) and they are going to cut where it needs to be, as they said , top heavy management . At this point, it doesn’t seem like the regime taking over wants to continue to destroy the people actually doing the work , since we already don’t have faith in the company due to years of betrayal and surplus abuse . Sidenote , Id love to work from home permanently ! If anything , they should see they could save money on allowing us to work FROM home .

They already know how many jobs can be done virtually. Covid19 will give them as well as other business the leverage they needed to confirm: (virtual work compliance, video access, uptime and downtime), also doing more with less (keep retail up and running with less stores open, integrate call centers,) to cut cost. The opportunity areas that were discussed on the video call with Bill, John and Jeff are part this.
