Can anyone confirm that layoffs are coming to Illinois's I&R and Linemen groups? Chicago seems to be the area with any significant work.

The union is shocked and surprised by the announcement.
I agree,
The company isn’t the only one getting sued, my managers will also be in a lawsuit from my estate.
None here in the Southeast, we are business as usual and busy. The Cobid-19 is going to lay techs off from work because of the spread. Current dispatch work rules are based on the customer being truthful. Even if they answer yes to any COVID-19 questions, the tech basically needs a Dr. note from them in order to put in jeopardy.
Work conditions is working in confined spaces, talking to customers, laying on floor, walking around multiple rooms to do a lot of non essential work while being highly exposed.
No trolls, I’m not going to quit. When I become infected and possibly die. I’ve instructed my brothers law firm to make my family wealthy due to so many documented, non essential work dispatches and placing techs in too many non critical, unsafe conditions.
Yes with population and business decline, it’s inevitable.
