Has anyone heard rumors of HR working on a job title restructuring project? I heard they are evaluating the different managers titles and pay scales and streamlining. Not sure what that means or if it will impact pay.

Titles mean nothing. You are either non-exempt hourly employee, or 1 of 3 levels of exempt salaried employee's. Some titles are set in union contracts, that can't be changed. All other are up for discussion. All titles do have salary range assigned. These all are very wide and overlap and the goal is for employee's to be paid in the middle range of the pay band for their title.
I hope after this they will respond to emails that seems to be a struggle for wireless area managers in the west.
i know of one so far, title changed, lower, its about time, what is all that senior in front of everything, so ridiculous.
Yes, managers new title will be junior wire tech. Listen to those with experience and you might make it.

Has to happen. We have several AD's in our org who now have no one reporting to them.
