Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Cares Act

Cares Act
ATT has chose not to let you take 401K
disbursements under the Cares act. So if your in a bind and need money don’t count on your 401K. This is not advisable anyway but some people may have nowhere else to go.

Fidelity is now able process a withdrawal. This information is wrong. AT&T does allow this. I just got mine.

@1yjc+14mQxB8D you know nothing of each persons personal circumstance, sooo be quiet with your all knowing response. I have 3 kids, one in college, and wife who just got thru cancer.....think I have a few bills where taking out $5k might give me some additional breathing room? You know, just like T taking $5b just to have around ;)

Most if not all AT&T employee's should have no reason to pull from their 401. This mostly applies to those who have retired and are not 59 1/2 yet. And once you retire, you can do what ever you want to with the money. CARES act just eliminates the penalty's and limit on how many draws per year.

Wasn't aware that an employer had a say in that? Doesn't sound correct.

But randy is great he is paying the dividend and benefits and salary. This is nothing but robbing the american people and giving it to the new high priests of today the ceos. Nothing but consolidation of wealth. Socialism for the CEO’s and capitalism for the workers.
