Branch banking still letting customers into the lobbies

Alright so first off they as in district leadership tell branch managers to go outside and guide traffic; corporate properties even ordered extra traffic cones and reflective vests to aide with this activity. Then an email is sent from corporate strictly prohibiting team members from walking through traffic and guiding customers. Why are the lobbies still open? Customers are not respecting social/physical distancing literally getting in the face of bankers/managers when they are asking what their business needs are. When are we going to go drive-thru only and no inside transactions. Anybody else in branch banking dealing with this?

This is why I left retail banking for another job in a better field not dealing with the general public. People are maniacs. So happy Im not dealing with disgusting customers yelling, spitting and coughing on my desk while I print their bank statements which they could have done at home.

Why are there still “stores” at all? Just get rid of staff building and equipment and go completely digital. Stock price is suffering. Time to get rid of the losers in the branches.

A lot of stores, especially in the West no longer have drive through windows. They were either remodeled and removed or turned into atm drive ups many years ago. That is why we can't go 100% drive through.
