Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Stinky is "relieved" of Time Warner

But he is still in charge of T. He is just too busy playing Golf to run everything! So they hired a new exec to handle the media arm.

Ratty needs to go.
Stinky needs to go.
The Board of Misdirectors needs to go.

But they all remain...

We could have spent billions laying and upgrading our "fat dumb pipes" with fiber. Then we could let the media companies sort themselves out. The survivors would be our customers. No, AT&T is going to try to be a media company. SMH

They hired somebody with actual media experience, to stem the outflow of media management talent. Stankey is the new guy's boss, so gets the credit and the money, but somebody with actual experience will do the real work.

Stankey is still Randy's good buddy, so will continue to rake in the big bucks. He just has more time for golf now.
