Has anyone received any directives to code your time when you work from home? Any knowledgeable reason why? (Please no speculation)

Yes, we have been told to code to TELH in elink. I'm in Summer org.
Yes and it’s for tax purposes. For example if you work in one state and live in another the coding puts the taxes in the spot where your working so they get the credit. Same thing for localities, if you work in the city and live in the county the tax rates may be different. Hope that helps, they have been doing this forever for those of us who used to work from home a lot of the time

Anytime the Company has reason to track hours they will assign a specific code to be entered so the time can be easily identified for an audit. Working from home during this COVID19 Crisis will be tracked and recorded for audit at a later date. If the hours are not coded with the specific code they will be lost and can’t be counted as COVID19 hours.
