Unemployment is paying an extra $600 per week on top of what you would normally get. In most states that equals almost $1000 a week for the next 4 months! Plenty of time to stay home safe and look for a job somewhere else while still getting paid.

The job market is going to be a big mess for awhile. I don’t want to be unemployed because it might last a year or longer. This is going to be the worst recession ever. A lot old people are going to be put out to pasture just like they were during the last recession.

What is your point? If you quit, you get no unemployment. So exactly who is going to quit their job to get nothing to tide them over to find a new job?
