CWA COMES TO THE RESCUE !

Anybody know anything about CWA leading the way towards saving the workers ? And I don’t mean the required service. After all unions are a business that provides a service. However 30-40 % of dues goes towards that service. 30% goes
to political contributions. 30% goes to ???

Trade Unions are one of the most corrupt and useless businesses on the planet. They had some value of course at the turn into the 20th century and beyond WWII with safety and working conditions, but modern business practices and huge advancements in technology and automation pretty much made them obsolete beyond 2000. Less than 10% of the composite workforce in the US is union represented and I don’t ever see that moving vertical again. Unions never figured out how to align their business practices with those of the ever changing job and skill markets of their members. They simply continue to use the same archaic tactics that worked 100 years ago that are incredibly dated and ineffective today. They create an entitlement atmosphere for members based solely on seniority and without any really valuable skill set to match it and then run around telling everyone how important they are and how hard their members work and that you can’t survive without them.

Take any normal working class blue collar civilian off the streets and have them ride/sit with pretty much any union employee at AT&T for a couple of days and then show them how much that union employee makes and their benefits coverage. Ask them how bad the work, pay and benefits are after and they’ll laugh at you and ask “How and where do I sign up to get on that gravy train?”

To hell with the CWA they screwed hundreds of technicians out of a job, I will never job a sub-par c-appy union like the CWA ever again, I’ll take my chances without them.

How about negotiating an all hands paid 3 week leave to slow the spread of this deadly virus. THAT IS WHAT THE MEDICAL AND SCIENCE EXPERTS SAY WE SHOULD ALL DO !

Holy cow!! CWA District 9 has taken responsibility for the “negotiated” 20% increase in pay while the employees risk their Heath and well being. Wow pat yourselves on the back until the sun no longer shines. Thank you CWA for keeping the world spinning. Without your humility where would we all be ?
