Very loyal American Airlines flight attendant and union representative has died due to Coronavirus. A 20 % pay raise is not worth it .
If it's not shut up and take the 160 hours paid leave. I'll do i think is best for me and take the 20% raise. Must be stressful having to decide between the 2 choices, while folks out there are getting nothing.

Too many individuals and corporations are acting like this is just a little hill to climb. 3 people in the same family in New York died from COVID 19. Money is not the #1 priority. Never has .
The expert medical people say shut everything down for 2 weeks - EVERYTHING except essential services( hospitals, police, fire ) and the situation will improve dramatically. 20% extra pay is not an answer to this pandemic!

In my experience working for the company, they always plan ahead in 3 year cycles. And they are pretty successful reaching their job reduction goals.

Hey OP, greedy selfish people like you is what’s wrong with the country; how about being grateful that not only one keeps his job but gets a temp bump instead of being laid off and not having a paycheck at all ?
