If anyone on here is let go by ATT, do you have plans to move services to another provider? Or will you maintain current services at the non-discounted rate?

I have Verizon since I got a cell phone. They give you a small discount because you work for att. Only have dtv and will drop once gone
I am still an employee and use T-Mobile for cell. The only AT&T product I use is DTV and I will drop when I leave and go withYouTube, Netflix, HULU, Sling or some combo depending on offerings at the time I leave.
Would move to tmobile also and drop DTV, watch a lot of Netflix anyhow. Internet already with cable because DSL speed where I'm at don't cut it.
I left voluntarily. AT&T’s giga power is unbeatable in our area. Won’t sign up with Comcast or Spectrum. Both s— here.
Phone service is real bad. They really gotta put some towers up in north Georgia. On a good day I get 2 bars. But I am on a family account with 8 lines( big family) and get a line for less than 30 bucks. So hanging in here.
TV I disconnected a week prior. A lot of better / cheaper options for Tv.
Digital life - debating if I should move. I thought of using nest and other similar service. But still with AT&T paying full price which is not worth it.
T mobile for me and wife for Hal what I paid with discount with att. Suddenlink 400meg for less $ than the 24 meg on bonded copper I was Paying for att. YouTubeTV cheaper than Directv I had. Was a no brainer when on a fixed income.
I would switch to T-Mobile and get rid of my chity weak 25Mb internet
Dropped att like a hot potato. Got better wireless service and cheaper prices even with the discount. My cell phone works in my basement office now.

Why would you stay once you gone and pay more? Even as an employee for mobility, with the made up fees etc, you can go to another provider and save on your cell bill even with a 50% discount. In most parts of the county cell service is a comity. The TV discounts are very good but once you lose them you will see why AT&T loses 1M customers a quarter.
Pathetic when your own employees can’t be retained customers. Good luck attracting those in the market place with many choices and lower prices.

At one time T mobile was matching any discount any provider was giving. I know of at least one employee who is using Tmo and getting 50% off. In his case, he's already paying less with them. Sounds crazy, but then again, as an employee, it's also cheaper to buy a phone direct from Samsung than ATT. Go figure.
I am still employed, with the Mobility discount. I know for a fact, today, that I could beat the employee discount for my 4 lines as just a regular customer elsewhere. It's just not worth the hassle for me to do it now. If I get the ax, I will be eligible for "retiree" benefits, which aren't as good as what I am getting now. So at that point it's a no brainer, as it will be considerably more expensive at that point. I have DTV with HBO for $10 as an employee. That is impossible to beat. But again, as a "retiree" that is going up 10X. No brainer, buh-bye. I think I will be going to Xfinity, getting a TV and Mobility bundle (already pay for their internet). Their mobile network is Verizon.
I vote that as part of the exit process T make it easy for employees to drop their current T service by presenting the option to move their services to providers of the employees choice.

I think I have a huge target on my back for a number of reasons. I actually am in shock that I lasted this long.
I'll drop T services like a rock, just like they drop employees in the US. TMOB and the cable company will get my $.
I never understood why Ratty did not offer meaningful discounts to retirees similar to active. There have got to be more retiree's now than active employees with all the wackings. He missed a golden opportunity to rig the customer numbers!
