Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

att was busy having employees manage their manager. I see people who are architects in security now and they didn't know how to ssh to a unix server and wanted to still use telnet and also use the old remote un-encrypted command access in unix just to add users. they fought using ssh and they snowed their managers and are now architects in cso. what a joke. it isn't what you know but who you can snow. uam was nothing but rewriting openldap so the people were able to make a career out of that and snowed cso because no other company is using so it will be secure because no one will know how to hack it. security through obscurity the number one item they teach about security is don't rely on obscurity but secure your product.

att is a joke and stupid company. they waste money on c-ap that will just have to be redone eventually all the while outsourcing more and more employees.

Don't fall for the hate. Keep America great, keep AT&T great.

man reading that article makes me realize what a d-bag stephenson was and all he did was enrich himself while leaving an in debt company and 10's of thousands ready for the chopping all the while ruining america and the middle class while outsourcing their jobs to third world countries that resulted in nothing but customer loss and support nightmare - does anybody really want to call att for support if they are having problems. could anybody had done a worse job? but hey he can play golf at pebble peach and speak in front of thousands of people and that is what really counts.
