Will they take a hit and work go to core or since we are paid less will core take the hit. What do y’all think?

Southeast has been slow, no work by 2, asking for surp everyday, tech doubleups.
Been really really slow last 2 weeks. Has been slow since shutdown 6-8 weeks ago, but worse now.
Still want us to take precautions without hazard pay.
theres still prem techs around? lol not for long.
So how does the layoff go down? Friday at the end of your shift they have a meeting?

Furloughing doesn't exist for union employees. As a union employee, you should know that already. The Premise/Wire Tech titles will be cut to the bone in all regions sooner rather than later. DirecTV (Well keep the sinking OTT platform unfortunately) will be one of the first products divested during this transformation. U-Verse TV has already been put on stop sale. All Business GPON (IP Broadband) work has been migrated to the Business Field Ops team in the last 3 years. Premise and Wire techs cannot work ATM enabled Broadband or POTS (This is contractual in all regions unless they are already dispatched for that customer on IP enabled services). I guess the question is obvious:

Well they stopped selling U-verse TV so you know what that means.... of course there will still be HSIA and directv installs to fill in the gaps I guess. Maybe some AT&T TV installs for the customers who don’t know how to plug in a device?
Look at the calendar. Some say June 15, but normally done on Fridays, which is June 12th and September 11.
