I was not affected by this, but I'm very glad to hear it and happy for the people who will no longer be forced to decide between unemployment and uprooting their lives.
At least one good thing came out of this pandemic nightmare.
The cognitive dissonance generated by maintaining their position on remote work would be unbearable, given all the changes in the world due to the virus. I'm glad they did the decent thing.

Cancelling workplace strategy Phase 1 that impacted the ~700 people previously notified. Off the table. DISCONTINUED. Does not mean it will never come back. Do not know what world will look like in 2 or 3 years. For impacted team members, will continue to work from current location (home, office, etc.). For people who accepted relocation offer, they will receive 14 days to reevaluate. People who still want to relocate will be allowed to do so.
Phase One is cancelled and "off the table" for now. Brief moment to relax until Leadership can come up with next crazy idea.
