It will be announced in this morning's town hall. The relocation strategy is being cancelled. Details to follow, but expect hiring to still occur in focus cities with arguments accepted for people outside of the focus cities.

I know 2 people that kept the orignal notification. one was set to retire- she did, not sure if she took a package and the other got a package and we ready to move on, this was in the Concord location.

Is phase one just part of phase two now?
I hope the virus is going to put all the location strategies on hold for a long time, a year maybe, maybe more.
Mother nature is driving the bus, not Wells management.
What I worry about now is a Christmas Time M—acre, where the bank waits until November/December to start layoffs, to clear the books before end of year.
If the location strategy was just a ruse to enourage attrition (and I hope it was because otherwise Wells management is stupid, evil makes more sense), and they don't have enough people quitting, will they use the loss of revenue from the virus as an excuse to let people go?
Wasn’t phase 1 all employees in locations with less than 10 team members? Phase 2 is all employees in locations with less than 100 team members? So they’re just going to phase 2 which would inherently include phase 1, or the locations with 10 and under are now safety zones?
When you work remotely just let the phone ring and end, or the message go to an answering machine. Turn off your cell phone during meetings. When the cell phone bogus calls come in just decline them, as would happen if you were in the office anyway. If the home door bell rings don't answer it, unless it is someone that you are expecting for some reason. Tell the kids, adult children living at home, you are working and try not to interrupt you and do warn the kids, adult children, when you have a remote meeting to ensure that they are quiet during that time.
Did anyone else notice how the dane made an effort in his town hall to point out distractions in working from home and the inability to communicate properly? Others never had issues before his arrival when it came to town halls. It's as if the sociopath was highly disappointed employees were relieved of stress of losing everything they own in a depression economy and during a pandemic. Please stop drinking his kool-aid. He doesn't give a c-ap about anyone but himself and the wealthy shareholders.
Only Saul can take good news and make it bad. We are in desperate need of folks on our team, under Saul. we have 6 reqs open, but cannot fill them because the niche skillsets that are required for the job. No one wants to relocate to Des Moines or MSP. Nothing against those locations, ( live in DSM myself). By not allowing me to hire qualified candidates outside of the focus cities, we are putting our goals and and the 6s strategy at risk. I am still very disappointed in our employment and location strategy.
people who provided response (severance or relocation) will be given 14 days to provide final decision. people who wanted to relocate will be allowed, however no timeline on when due to covid.
people who did not provide any response will continue to work from wherever they are located and will continue on
SAUL's relocation strategy discontinued and I expect same will happen for all other groups.

What about people who decided to take severance? Can they still do that or is that rescinded now that it is CANCELLED?
Cancelling workplace strategy Phase 1 that impacted the ~700 people previously notified. Off the table. DISCONTINUED. Does not mean it will never come back. Do not know what world will look like in 2 or 3 years. For impacted team members, will continue to work from current location (home, office, etc.). For people who accepted relocation offer, they will receive 14 days to reevaluate. People who still want to relocate will be allowed to do so.

Wrong. Not sure where you get your information. They are doing the opposite. The timelines will be accelerated. They are closing the SF and NYC office and moving EVERYONE to Charlotte and Winston
