Stankey is an arrogant, ignorant, selfish individual with large ego. He made $tupid mistake with very poor acquisitions ruining lives and the great company. DTV acquisition was his main signature acquisition - a complete failure and a disaster. I was around during the early days of Netflix and some folks brought up the idea of acquiring it - really cheap at that time, but the genius Stankey k–led that idea. With his loud voice and arrogance he thinks he is the smartest person ever walked on earth - I think he is just an mo–n and an id–t.
T $30/share. tells you what the market thinks of Stinkbug
Uncle Joe aka Corn Pop thinks he'll do fine!
At least he is better looking than Howdy Doody. That's all I got.
I do
Gets better, in the news WarnerMedia also says there are wonly “a limited number of subscriptions to this HBO Now/HBO Max promotional offer.
For REAL? a limited number
send in the clowns
Pay investors, pay workers, revenue, profits. Sounds pretty competent.
The big, beautiful debt. And tremendous dividends. And lots of jobs. Good job Randall and Stankey.
I think John will do just splendid. Your pal, Randall
Stankey is qualified to be CEO of Boost Mobile not T
@kah+14KOjkH0 Typical att employee so called leader that comes to a site about employees losing their lively hoods and slanders them . Guess asset management is back to work.
At least he is more competent than all of you here. Accept the fact and do your jobs or find another jobs.
He cuts dividends and pays off all T$ debt in 5 years would be a good start for him
He’s just there to get $100 million over 5 years, and preserve the gravy train for the BOD!
Yesterday's complaint, today.
"Will Stankey be another Jobs"
Jobs was innovative, Stank is worn. He has been there since 1985, what has he does for growth in the past 35 years that was innovative vs his billion dollar failures LOL
What a handsome man.
Revenue growth will be the judge. Cost cutting, layoff and paying dividends are all bean counter games to keep institutional stockholder happy and line big whig's pockets. The growth in mobility and fiber are being erased by losses in TV, let's see where this trend will go with Stankey. The 3 year plan with 2% growth isn't exactly aggressive, more covering a– while trying to make a bad situation look good.
Yes, Stankey is a know-it-all, and so was Steve Jobs. Jobs was arrogant and fired people who didn't aligned with his vision and p-ss-d off a lot employees and customers, but his legacy is apple's growth and dominance in market. Will Stankey be another Jobs, personality may be, the rest we will see.
Who said cronyism?
AT&T's long history of senior appointment of friends and family without proper regard to their qualifications or competence, we all know that AT&T's succession pipelines are bone dry, make no mistake: That decision belongs to the board, then yes, boards are designed to fail. self interest reigns over collective interest.
He did not get there by being incompetent.
Uhhhh no
He is going to stank it up!
Competent maybe, successful probably not. Although I hope for everyone’s sake he succeeds.
I will give you two, Randy and Stankey
Because it sure as hell ain't me.
