Rebadging - I think we are 9 months into the IBM rebadge - any update on IBM’s plan

I think it has been just about 9 months since the large IBM rebadging occurred. As I understand, IBM labeled them as short term / temp employees or something similar and / or said they were guaranteed work for 1 year. Anyone hear anything about what IBM plans to do? I would expect folks might hear something soon or begin to see signs of something about to happen.

Scary....IBM may have their issues but dealing with the other three is a big nightmare...

Is this for the former Tech Dev? Does IBM still give you the DevOscars awards show?

I have to guess on this, but ATT has the type of decision making culture that will decide to bring you back in house long after your year at IBM is up. It will be based on whether they can avoid bridging your service, so you won't be able to accrue more pension benefits.

Confused here. Were ATT employees rebadged to be IBM employees?

They gave a few people 18 months. Those who could find something else left. The rest either learned their fate or will in the next couple weeks. Everything is going to India. Where they used to have ~20% US with Accenture/Infosys/Amdocs it's now going to be just one or two people here.
