AT&T has opened more stores and 80% are opened. I heard that the VPGM of the areas has been calling the opened stores in the area to see if you answer because they're not seeing sales on your dashboard metrics. That's where their concerns are.

@2nhd not if you’re not working and you’re getting your hourly to sit at home. It’s on CSP that they’re no longer paying quota relief to people who aren’t working. You only get quota relief for days worked. For those told to stay home because of social distancing and headcount, they won’t get any commission.

Looks like they already have more than enough from the WFH program, calls are now 5-10 min apart. With more reps jumping on next week, i don't see the need for more volunteers
Not sure why people are downvoting @doj he’s right. We have three reps bottom of the totem being told to stay home for the month of May and that’d they’d only be called in to work if someone has PTO or calls out. No commission for days not worked.

I was told May is business as usual for my location. In a city that has over 200 Covid19 cases. With surrounding counties with over 100 and climbing.

I was told I won’t be working starting May 3rd until further notice because I’m lowest in seniority and they can only have 5 reps a day working in store and there are 12 in our store. I was advised by my manager to get a temp job to make up for lost commission as we are only getting paid commission for days we work. We do get our hourly at least.
Went into a store to pick a pre-ordered accessory. There were 4 CSRs, all on their phones while the big screen TV playing on the wall. Traffic is slow, people are not coming in unless they have to. The CSRs didn't attempt to upsale me on anything. I personally want the CSRs to do well, so they and us (those who don't work in retail) can keep our jobs. For Pete's sake, they need better products/services at competitive prices!
What will IHX do once DTV is sold
Come join IHX department. It's ok for Technician's to refuse to go in but not for us. They still want us to set up cell phones while going in the home. While tech's can hand them the modem through the window and not go inside.

It is about capitalizing on the people that come into the store for sure. However you cannot push the same until a sense of normalcy and people are back to work! Continue shoving that c-appy TV product down people’s throats during a pandemic. Slam them just like you’ve been taught!
I agree with sales targets. It’s just not going to be normal until around July time frame! I am a top producer! You have to ease back into things. I don’t know what baby goals you were given. But our goal is about normal.
I’m not defending management, but What do you expect them to focus on?
Quit acting like it’s some insane idea that they want people to sell. Seems like getting back to normal benefits everyone and minimizes the chances of more cuts that is already planned.
Retail Sales consultants and up get paid substantially more than most Entry level positions in large retail companies. If you don’t like it, maybe you should consider something else. I assure you, there will be plenty of people wanting the jobs we have. I’d rather be given a sales target (lower than usual) to encourage productivity than being laid off with no pay.
What a joke. Giving the retail store targets and expecting the sales to just come booming in . Also those staying at home it’s not their fault and shouldn’t be penalized. Stores should not have sales targets until July at the earliest. What a bunch of blood thirsty vampires that company is.
That may be true but many RSCs low in seniority are being forced to stay home next month with no commission check. They are reopening but with reduced headcount.
