AT&T’s massive TV losses continue as another 900,000 customers flee

As someone who works on AT&T TV, it might be time to update the resume. It's too bad because I do enjoy working here and my team.

They need to find a way to get rid of the losing DTV business and quick. DTV was a very poor acquisition and Stankey needs to be held responsible for this disaster. It is a shame that this id–t will be the CEO....

When I was surplussed, I disconnected all of my AT&T services and told 10 friends to do the same. Those 10 friends told 10 friends and well you get the drift. Karma is a b–ch T.

At&t TV is about the same price as having a dish put on your house but without all the overhead of supply chain, field techs, cabling, etc. You have to advertize AND give customers corresponding discounted rates to get them on board. Otherwise why bother?

I disco'd my DTV and my Uverse.
Was $10 for DTV when I was an employee.
Retired and then $120.
8M uverse. $30 ish a month.
I called numerous times to get a better rate and they told me I would have to disconnect for 30 days then sign up for new service.
So I did disconnect.
Now get 100M and the same channels from Spectrum for $90 a month.

Where is the advertising for ATT TV? Yesterday was the first advertisement I've seen, and it came in the form of a traditional snail mail ad package, along with fence repair and bathroom grout cleaning. Really???? Compared to Quibi, where ads seemed to be everywhere, I don't see how the public is aware of what ATT has to offer.

Recycling the same old complaints. TV is here to stay. Deal with it.

All the mixed up tv product offerings are absolutely incoherent and cannibalizing each other. Comcast's ads have a better message, never mind the price or service.

They could of gone to att tv from uverse it could of been easy but they had to buy dtv and looks like they only bought it to k–l the competition. The money they spent with dtv they could of had a great evolution of uverse into streaming all the while keep supporting uverse for the customers that liked the product.

They should have stayed in the Wireless only business. What a disaster.
