Will leave a trail of bodies in his wake. Doesn't know how to build anything. Just barely maintain and axe away. ATT has zero chance of gaining ground on Verizon and TMobile. ATT has zero chance of doing anything against Netflix, Amazon, Disney, Comcast....just a history of pissing off customers. While everyone else is Apps and no contract ATT brings you cable boxes, contracts, and fees. Does anyone think the talent is going to hang around at Time Warner and work for this guy?

I work for a fairly critical business application where they have torn us apart with surpluses until there is practically no one left to fix and maintain it ... and now trying to hand everything left to people offshore and 3rd party co’s who have no idea how to handle it. We are not the only app in this situation - a small mistake, network glitch, one more person leaving, or gust of wind will prove fatal to one or more business processes T takes for granted. I don’t have any confidence in Stankey or whatever direction T thinks it’s going.
Stankey is much better looking than Randy.
I've noticed lately he's been acting ceo-ish, he's eased up on the bull in a china shop style leadership. Elliot must've had a sit down with him. We'll see if he cracks.

Stinky will be a worse pestilence for the deathstar than covid could ever be for this world. The man is so filled with arrogance and the love of his own flatulence that he's incapable of properly running a lemonade stand, much less a company like this.
Expect MASSIVE layoffs in Q3 and Q4, continuing regularly for as long as this angel of death is in the top seat. And in the process HBO, DIRECTV, and every other component of the company will become a worthless husk.
That’s why Elliot are ok with his promotion, what better and quicker way to get rid of him than to let him hang himself by no longer having his enabling hand rail Randall around to cover for him. Everything going forward is all on him and since the outbreak I have seen no evidence of a change in strategy for the company other than wash your hands.

I left working for AT&T after many years as an RSC and then Manager for the company. I have been with Verizon now for 2 years and moved up to Manager on the Retail side. It's a much better company with a clear vision. Its so nice not to have to push the bipolar entertainment products of the day. It overwhelms customers throwing multiple products at a customer just to attempt to get something to stick
Somebody has to enrich themselves and the Board of Mis-directors until they drive it into bankruptcy or into the arms of someone that will buy the assets for half a penny on the $.
