Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Question about ATT TV Now

I have a question. I haven't watched much TV in the last couple of years, so maybe I'm just out of touch with how things work now.

I found a show I thought I'd like to watch but it seems like an awful lot of commercials. Thirty nine minutes of commercials for each 86 minute episode. That seems a bit extreme to me. Is that an AT&T thing or is that just how it is now, because ain't nobody got time for that.

Try downloading the app for that channel and cast/watch from there. Might give a better experience.

It’s an AT&T thing. My recommendation, find another streaming service that offers that channel. Odds are, whatever you find, you’ll save money.

Direct TV on demand , iam forced to watch a LOT of commercials , there is NO fast forwarding through the commercials, though we are allowed to fast forward through the programming. Comcast doesn't force customers to watch commercials , Uverse doesn't force us to watch commercials . At least they didnt a few years ago before I gave it up for the cheaper Direct TV. Wow what a mistake !!!

OP must have a lot of free time like most unproductive T employees to be timing commercials

Perfect RIF candidate

What show on what channel is this that you claim to have more commercials that what you would expect? Only the network that airs the shows controls how much commercial time there is. Att cannot add more commercials you t u r d

I'm glad I'm not glued to the TV. The things I've streamed from other sources had no where near the amount of commercials, so I asked an honest question. What a sad, bitter, hateful bunch you are.

I was wondering the same thing when I watched the New Year’s Eve count down if people watching on other providers saw as many commercials as I did or if a viewer on spectrum or cox cable got to see midnight come 40 minutes earlier than me cause they air less commercials
