We’ve all been thru this before. Just think back to 2012. Stankey has been running the show for a while now and was actually selected as RS successor some time ago. Headcount reduction in all the wrong places will continue to take place and we will send even more work to offshore contractors who could actually care less about the health/future of the company. I thought it was comical when Mcelfresh told Stankey during the transformation call with Morrow that we “can’t cost cut our way to success” as we are all completely aware that accelerated headcount reduction is priority #1 for the Executive team. Welcome to the next 5 years of your life at AT&T.
- Constant surplus threats every quarter
- Mind numbing micro-management at every level
- Microscopic cost control in one division and basically burning money in another
- Zero communication/collaboration between departments and silo’s as everyone scrambles to insulate themselves from layoffs
Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!
