Anyone know what CNN is going to do? Interested in Warner Decisions :( Selfish but appreciate insight!
I believe that the company will accelerate the outsourcing to low cost vendors like accenture, IBM, and Wipro. This prevents the optics of outsourcing in a pandemic but removes the expense from the budget in the 3 year plan. They will take management employees in whole (probably a certain % at a time) and move them over to 12 month contracts. The vendor will outsource you in 12 months and 1 day with 2 weeks severance. If you are nearing retirement (modified rule of 75) you will be attractive to move due to your cost to the business. All of the people who were already surplus but kept on payroll due to Covid will go first. Then expect billing ops, field ops, call centers, and any large expense organization. This will be in direct response to the investors. Make sure you are keeping your skills current and your resume updated.
A toupee!!
they're on record to cut 6 billion over the next 3 years. the only safe places are all the stadium and celebrity sponsorships.
Stinky quote from CNBC: "I have the luxury that I don't have to work, but..."
Please, oh please - just stop working and leave! Pull the rip cord on your Golden Parachute!
YOU STINK!!!
Nothing will change in fact stank will make things worse.
These guys are going to use the coverage of the pandemic to begin serious reductions especially in pesky divisions that commanded more away in the past.
They know while the FED is printing money and everyone is getting cut , it's the best time to lighten the load, and make investors happy. The market and economy is going to be a disaster in the upcoming months as people realize we're not getting back to normal so quickly.
expect heavy cuts by mid to late May
Expect to see stanky stank's shiny baldy head on the horizon.
no place is safe
By the way- where is he going to reign from? I thought after Dallas he was in El Segundo then last I heard he was in NY.
Isn’t he the one that made people move to Dallas and El Segundo? I can see him continuing consolidate like that. :(
Big beautiful debt. Keeping AT&T great again.
“Feeding Too Many Mouths” so you tell me what you thinks gonna happen... it’s not going to help matters at all. This may be the coup de groix for AT&T as we know it.
Slight acceleration in the slow death of the company.
Layoffs, forced moves to Dallas or el segundo. It’s going to be bad.
Elliott, Stankey and Morrow not a good combination.
You customer keeps you in business and puts you out of business too. If you listen to them, you can improve your products or services. If you ignore they fire you. Customers don’t disappear, they go to your competitors.
Gonna be a real bloodbath going forward. Good luck, folks.
