Be careful with "anonymous" surveys

I no longer fill out ANY of these "anonymous" surveys. I got a Q from the manager two levels above me that I have never communicated with before. After the usual friendly chit-chat, she wanted to know why employee moral was so low in my location on the last anonymous survey. Come to find out, I was the ONLY employee left in my location in her organization!

I'll NEVER fill out another "anonymous" survey!

So, maybe if you tell them they will make some improvements. I doubt the manager two levels above is concerned with getting rid of you. If they did want to get rid you they would just do it, not ask you about morale. They are just trying to get their numbers up. No reason they wouldn't give you some latitude to solve some issues if it gets them higher scores.

I always fill them out with the highest rating. No good comes from complaining. And if it’s not anonymous, now you’re on the “good” list - no brainer guys

I give them all 10’s and praise the company with ridiculous statements like. “This is the greatest company in the world don’t change anything.” Can’t get in trouble if they are tracking respondents and sends a message that I really don’t give a s**t about their survey.

I always fill them out with the statement that all answers were given under direct threat of retaliation from management.

I used to fill them out with negative comments and low ratings every year, but nothing ever came of it. But when I didn’t fill it out (along with a few others on my team), they raised a big stink about it.

You must be management. Telling those who take the survey to tell them what they want? Really? You'll be gone soon so troll all you want.

I don't think it's so simple as just opting out of anonymous surveys.

They can also see that you opted out, which places you in the bad column.

Since they have no intention of acting on what you say, except to use it to assess your loyalty, your most prudent option is just to tell them what they want to hear, rah rah all the way.

I'm not saying it's best for the company, I'm just saying it's what's real in a company where a $600K bribe to Michael Cohen for "insights" into the administration's thinking allowed a bad acquisition of TimeWarner that has us perusing a layoff site, because we are cannon fodder to that decision's incurred debt.

Entering the already-crowded streaming space with an overpriced service and notoriously poor user interface history, we can expect more such robbing of Peter to pay off the debt used to acquire Paul.

My manager two levels above me did the exact same thing to me. Are they all that way?

Because our leadership is Psychopathic and can't shoot straight yet maintain their positions? Zero accountability and now they will label layoffs with the Covid 19 brand. Share Price says it all.

Why employee moral was so low. Wtf world do these people live in. When you see people who worked the last 20 years by coming in at night and working their tails off and just thrown out like the garbage and then they hire a college hire to do your work and tell you your job is obsolete but yet hire some one new hire without a pension and then the company steals money from the pension that is suppose to go to the employee by not updating the information. You can give that to the clueless so called leader for a start. I am sure we can come up with more given a little time.
