Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Has anyone received a culture survey?

Supposedly there’s a random culture survey for non-essential employees gauging thoughts on return to work.

If they think I'm going to sit in a crowded office within 3 foot of my neighbors and wear a mask while talking on the phone they've lost their forking minds.

Got the survey. Questions around are you ready to go back to the office, are you confident they will have masks, wipes, sanitizer. Do you feel safe going back to the office, confident in their cleaning practices, things like that. Of course the answer to all was no.

Since AT&T keystroke logs everything you do, you better believe you're not anonymous on anything.

People don't do survey, then wonder why they aren't heard. Duh!

Didn’t get a survey but was asked recently what thoughts were and if we wanted to hurry and get back to the office.

@moi - the manager two levels above me is just like that too.

I can tell you that there are many ways to figure out who submitted the survey. It can be narrowed to a location or state. How many in your group are in that area? Then the comments narrow it further. You know we all have a specific writing style. Be honest and professional and you will be ok.

If they don't to want hear the answers, then don't ask the questions. From the last poster, if takes a senior manager to read to a survey to discover low morale, they already failed way before the survey and in multiple levels.

I always responded candidly on these so call surveys. No, I don't recommend friends and family to come to work for T, no movement opportunity on merits and internal politics is rampant at every level. No, I don't recommend T's product and services to friends and family, price to value isn't competitive, no customer loyalty. I write and speak the same way, it wouldn't be hard for my manager and several level above to figure out where the feedback came from. They can come for me at any time, I welcome opportunity.

A colleague had received the return to work comfort level survey, not everyone is the org is targeted. I'd say respond candidly. If you are not front line and can get work done without going into an office risk environment, be blunt and advocate for yourself and family.

I no longer fill out ANY of these "anonymous" surveys. I got a Q from the manager two levels above me that I have never communicated with before. After the usual friendly chit-chat, she wanted to know why employee moral was so low in my location on the last anonymous survey. Come to find out, I was the ONLY employee left in my location in her organization!

I'll NEVER fill out another "anonymous" survey!

If you are nonessential, they really don’t need you...
