Hey I’m good with going back....2 weeks is a great break! I’m totally de-stressed. Now I go back for a 20% increase....hopefully the interest rates stay down and retire at the end of the year with a huge lump! Absolutely don’t what to see people suffer and die in a pandemic....but this really couldn’t have worked out better for my last year! 😁

The CDC change from 60+ to 65+ made a huge change in the eligibility of older employees.

There are a lot of employees closing in on retirement who are still working between the ages of 60 to 65; however, that number drops to extremely low levels for employees older than 65.

Most are hanging on until they are eligible for Medicare before leaving.

So (in my mind at least), the change to 65+ makes it pretty much a moot point. Most employees have already gotten the heck out of this place by the time they reach 65.

I also think there was political pressure from the top placed on the CDC to make that change. They really want everyone to just continue to work as if everything is A OK. (We'll see how long that lasts.)

Told my wife to line up a good Personal Injury Lawyer and at least sue the heck out of these clowns when I die for forcing me back without ANY protective gear whatsoever.

CDC updated at risk age to 65. Company quickly updated its policy soon after but, does not affect the “ out of school” benefits.

Can those who haven’t taken the childcare leave (closed schools) still apply for it? I was saving mine for next month, since the kids have been with the ex this month.
