Appalling Wireless Service

Unbelievable how bad VZW’s wireless service has become. I recently ordered a new line of service and a new iPhone 11, and It was the worst wireless experience ever! Consistently no more than 2 bars of signal when I used to have full signal with att. Worse yet, the data speeds were unbelievably slow no matter what the signal strength was. I was on an unlimited data plan, there’s not supposed to be any data throttling until after you’ve used over 15 Gb of data. I didn’t come anywhere close to that! Download speeds were 1-2Mbps and upload speeds were .5 to 1mbps!!!! It was like this consistently!!!!!!!!! I couldn’t believe how bad it was.

Has VZW invested so much money into the upcoming 5G network that they’ve let the existing 4G LTE network go to c-ap? That’s sure how things look to me. Whatever happened to LTE advanced????????? It doesn’t appear to exist anywhere!

Just can’t believe how bad Verizon’s service has become. The old 3G CDMA network was more reliable.

Then Stiop being a Cheap A– and pay $10 for the Play, Do, Get more unlimited Data Plans!! That Way you can have more Gigs!! Like every wireless carrier they all prioritize your Data speeds!! Your absolutely wrong Verizons wireless service is by far the best!! I have no problem with it!! Yes at times signals bars at home are 2 or, 3 and my Data works better them my homes Wifi!!

They don't care if their employees live or die. What makes you think they care about your service? All they care about is money. This is a layoff board so why don't you post your comment somewhere else or go to a different carrier if your service is so bad. If you haven't noticed we are in the middle of a pandemic with no end in sight.

Lots of people stuck home and working from home right now. The result is a very saturated and overloaded network you are sharing with many, many other users. If the speeds increase in say the overnight hours that is probably the issue. As far as only 2 bars go, that is still a good signal. You may of had an ATT tower closer to you than the VZ tower. Just my 2 cents. It will get better! Hopefully Systems Performance has been noticing and can turn up more carriers at and near your location.
