Marriott CEO forfeited His remaining salary for 2020 and cut his Executive team salary 50% for remainder of the year... This will be used to pay employees and for other uses for the company.... This happened last week... I have been waiting for Randall to announce the same.. anyone think that will ever happen? :)
OR- will He take this upcoming Federal stimulus package and go buy more stock?
It is very commendable that the CEO forfeited his salary and will go a long way with the impression it makes on the employees.
I agree with the furlough comment here. A way to escape from unemployment benefit.
The business is adjusting in difficult conditions so it can thrive and continue to pay employees that work. Don't just be ungrateful and complain.
F marriott. They furloughed a bunch of employees so this gesture is no big deal. For those who dont know furloughed employees dont get unemployment but dont get paid.
