I hate at&t and only read this c-ap for the inevitable closing of this horribly run company. Haven’t worked here in a long time and hate everyone that I came across in this s&%thole company. Leave. Your life gets better exponentially after.

Now the malcontents can find something else to complain about. How about blaming Randall for not being able to find toilet paper?

Lol It is ironic how people are On a layoff website exclaiming how non-essential their job is but surprised when it is eliminated.

You do understand that that a cell phone does more than text you can call her. Stop letting your hate for At&t drive your point of view of what can be considered as essential. Non essential equals expendable I don’t know about you but I truly hope that that is not the case for people who need to remain employed. If that’s your point of view don’t expect job security. Good luck with unemployment because not many are hiring in a economic crisis.

You missed the point does their life not matter should they be forced to be exposed to the pandemic because of the profession they chose? Should they not have a choice? minus the entertainment portion is telecommunications a Necessity? Turn off your internet, cell phones and if you have a land line turn that off too. Let’s see how long it takes before you realize how dependent on these things you are. If a cell phone and the service is your only mode of communication What would you Do if the phone stops working. Hopefully your phone is not old and doesn’t work anymore and you upgraded before the pandemic started hopefully you don’t drop it in water and it stops working. These kind of accidents happen every day. Last time I checked majority of the world uses this as their only mode of communication. Remember everybody was happy to get rid of the landline. Unfortunately in society regardless of paid profession many jobs are essential. I don’t see how it is any different then a grocery store it is a service that a person needs. No cell phone or Internet service in many cases equals no mode of communication and you cannot call the hospital Or ambulance or check on loved ones like grandma or grandad or family that isn’t in travel distance there are many scenarios in which I can give you that would necessitate that at very Least some of the AT&T stores should remain open or minimize the workforce.

You really just compared a ATT rep to a Doctor or a Electrician. ATT retail stores are not a necessity, Grocery stores are. Turn off your phone or computer. You’ve have enough internet for today.

if some of the closed stores never reopen or is determined to be not needed going forward how would you feel ? This pandemic is not pleasant for anyone and difficult decisions have to be made. For some people nothing is ever good enough. Grocery store workers Individuals that work in transit and rideshare companies stills have to work. How about they say the same thing and close every single store and the transportation system. I guess you have a car so that doesn’t matter but some people don’t so let’s move forward. While we are at it less shut down the gas stations and let Individuals that maintaining the power grid and gas company stay home too. its pandemic so let’s just shut down everything. What’s good for the goose is good for the gander they are in the same situation therefore their job function should not matter because their life matters just like anyone else. So I say “F” it everybody quarantine yourself including medical professionals and let’s see how that works out.
