I worked for vzw for 20 + yrs, took the severance in Dec 2108. I saw alot of changes during my time there, and everything this group says about vzw and its leadership is very true. Vzw was once a company that did care about its employees, then share holders came on board...with that being said, vzw turned into a company that does not give a damn about them now. The only thing they do care about is $$. Joining the rest of the corporate world as a–holes. Our particular managment did do what they could to make it more comfortable and inclusive, but even they are effected by business politics. Vzw employees are just trying to keep their heads above water, feed their families and pay their mortgage, it does not mean they always agree with corporate. But you can in fact bet that corporate and share holders are cozy, safe and wealthy, and truly have no idea what the workers of this company go thru to keep that way, Nor do they care! Take that to the bank.....and when Hanns took over, it only got worse...so if ya dont like the heat, get out of the kitchen, it's only gonna get worse! So glad I left and there is life after vzw!!!!
